This elderly lady had a mechanical fall at home, but was noted to be bradycardic when attended by nursing staff for dressings. She was otherwise asymptomatic.
Tell me about her ECG.

The initial interpretation (by someone else) was sinus rhythm with a 2:1 block and some LVH. This, however, is complete heart block with a probable junctional escape. Although there is a P wave before each QRS, the PR interval is too short and too variable to actually represent AV conduction.
The block is more evident on repeat ECG.
It is also interesting to note that our ECG/monitor system reverts to its native Finnish language when printing out these reports. My other favourite Finnish thing: kalsarikännit.
